I think he is going through the motions but I have to admit I do the same to my husband in our daily routine. He probably doesn’t mean to sound insincere but the truth is he did take that moment out of his day to think of you. I’d say just let him off the hook but if I told my husband not to ask anymore it would probably hurt his feelings!

I think the media is doing a decent job. I think it is the public that is having a problem with showing respect. Yes she did drugs and yes she had a problem. But we don’t know if that is why she died. I think the fact she was found in the bath tub could have been left out. I have heard and seen some very cruel comments. We need to remember she had a family and a daughter. I certainly wouldn’t want her to have to read the inappropriate comments people are saying about her mother. Also, for those who are saying our soldiers and others who die don’t get as much coverage. Well I lost a family member in Iraq. He was all over the local news and he was also on the national coverage. So Yes we don’t dwell on those and it doesn’t keep being spoken about. Part of the unfortunate nature of being a celebrity is that you end up in the public eye and it is the nature of the press to put it out for all to see, the good, the bad, and the ugly. For those of my generation that grew up with the music of Whitney Houston we lost a piece of our history. Let her rest in peace and leave the judgements up to God.

I would love to hear “Could I have this Dance”. It was the song my sweet husband chose to be our last dance at our wedding. Everyone had gone out to get ready for us to leave. We were the only ones dancing and it was like we were just the two of us in the whole world. Whenever we hear it now he dances with me even in the kitchen.

I would love to hear “She’s in Love with a Boy” (don’t know the singer, but it’s country). I had this song as my ringtone for my hubby when we were engaged and living apart for a while. Now whenever I hear the song it brings back memories of us dating and of the thrill to hear that song playing because I knew it was HIM calling.
