Sat­ur­day, Bing­ham­Memo­ri­al­Hos­pi­tal– day long gala inPocatello: Begin­ning at 10a – Cor­ner of 1st and Cen­ter:  Fly­over from the WWII Mor­mon Mus­tang air­plane to begin mini parade of 20 regional vet­eran heroes. Fol­lowed by a USO Cel­e­bra­tion with food, live enter­tain­ment and an art show.

The Home Depot – 10% to all active duty per­son­nel, reservists Out­back Steak­house is honoringAmerica’s mil­i­tary vet­er­ans and those in active duty by offer­ing a free Bloomin’ Onion and a Coca-Cola prod­uct Tues­day, Nov. 8 through Fri­day, Nov. 11.

Applebee’s is again offer­ing a free meal to mil­i­tary vet­er­ans and active duty ser­vice mem­bers on Vet­er­ans Day, Fri­day, Nov. 11. There will be seven entrées to choose from. Mil­i­tary ID or proof of ser­vice required.

Chili’s is offer­ing all mil­i­tary past and present their choice of one of six meals on Fri­day, Nov. 11.

Many Sub­way restau­rants are offer­ing a free six-inch sub to mil­i­tary vet­er­ans on Vet­er­ans Day. Be sure to call ahead to ver­ify your local Sub­way is participating.

Texas Road­house restau­rants are offer­ing free meals on Vet­er­ans Day, from the time the restau­rant opens until 4 p.m.

The 10th annual Golden Cor­ral Mil­i­tary Appre­ci­a­tion din­ner will be held on Mon­day, Nov. 14, from 5–9 p.m. in all Golden Cor­ral Restau­rants nation­wide. The free “thank you” din­ner is avail­able to any per­son who has ever served in the U.S. Military.

The National Park Ser­vice will not charge entrance fees for Veteran’s Day weekend—Nov. 11–13. More than 100 national Parks will be par­tic­i­pat­ing in this event.

Sam’s Club® loca­tions nation­wide will dis­trib­ute 36,000 Hugo® canes free of charge Nov. 9–11 toU.S.military vet­er­ans in need of mobil­ity assis­tance. Lim­ited quan­ti­ties are avail­able. Sam’s Club® Mem­ber­ship is not required, but proof of mil­i­tary ser­vice may be required.

The Home Depot is offer­ing all active duty per­son­nel, reservists, retired mil­i­tary, vet­er­ans and their fam­i­lies a 10-percent dis­count off their pur­chases in honor of Vet­er­ans Day. The offer is valid on pur­chases of up to $2,000 for a max­i­mum of $200 and is avail­able at The Home Depot stores.

Lowes offers an all day, every day 10-percent dis­count to all mil­i­tary per­son­nel who are active, reserve, retired or dis­abled vet­er­ans and their fam­ily mem­bers, with a valid, government-issued mil­i­tary ID card.

Thou­sands of car washes around the coun­try are offeringU.S.veterans a free car wash on Vet­er­ans Day. Find a list at Grace for Vet­er­ans, which helped vet­er­ans receive 101,537 free Washes on Vet­er­ans Day 2010.
