Dear Mike & Liza,
15 years ago, when I started dating my husband, I told him a lie. I said I was allergic to avacados. The truth is, I’m not. I had actually never had an avacado — I thought they looked gross so I picked them out of my salad at dinner. I didn’t want to look like a baby, so when he asked why I just said “I’m allergic.”
Now, I’ve discovered I love avocados! I want to have guacamole and put them on my sandwiches but I don’t want to admit I lied.
What should I do?
