Rockland School Foundation's 2nd Annual Dutch Oven Dinner and Melodrama

Dutch oven -Chicken, potatoes & peach cobbler.  Salad, homemade rolls & root beer. 
Place: Rockland City Park
Dates: July 2,3 & 5.
Time: Dinner-6:00-7:30p.m.   
Cost: Dinner & play for adults $15.00 or $10.00 for either or.  Dinner & play for children 12-3 yrs $7.50 or $4.00 for either or.  Play-Doors close at 7:35 p.m. 

KLCE Cookbook 2008

We're already preping and planning on our next KLCE Cookbook. We're ready to accept your recipes - just follow the link to submit your recipe.

$2.00 ART CLASSES-PLANET ARTS (Idaho Falls)
Art classes for kids ages 5-12, at the Willard Arts Center. Thursday from June 5-July 24. 12-1 pm.  Cost is $2.00 per class. Limit 3 classes per child. Rigby Lions are sponsoring the Annual 4th of July Breakfast.
Friday July 4th from 7 AM to 10 AM at th Riot Zone, North of Rigby.  Featuring their famous hot cakes, ham, eggs and all the trimmings.  Adults $6.00 Children 11 and under $3.00.  Proceeds go toward Community Betterment Projects.  For more information call 745-7893
Madison Library Open House (Rexburg)
The Madison Library Foundation and the Madison Library Board of Trustees are sponsoring a series of open houses throughout the month of July. These open houses will consists of author readings, tours of the library, refreshments and opportunities to visit with members of the foundation, library staff and the board of trustees. The dates for the open house are July 10th, 17th and 24th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Each night will feature a local author reading selections from their own works. July 10th will feature Jack Weyland, author of Charlie and other young adult books. July 17th will feature Andra Hansen, author of Across the Road, a children's book. Relay For Life (Idaho Falls)
American Cancer Society's Relay For Life will start at 6p.m. on Fri. July 11th at Bonneville High School.   We will be joing together as a community to honor cancer survivors, remember those who have lost the battle, and continue the hope that one day there will be a cure. Idaho International Dance & Music Festival (Rexburg)

Experience cultures from around the world at the annual Idaho International Folk Dance Ensemble July 26-August 1.  Dances from approximately 13 different countries come together to celebrate their cultural traditions in musicand dance.  Providing entertainment for patrons of all ages, The Idaho International Folk Dance Festival is a mixture of ceremony, workshops, performances, and a mingling of host families and dancers.

Snake River Roaring Youth Jam (Idaho Falls)
The Snake River Roaring Youth Jam is the biggest family arts festival ever to hit Idaho Falls August 7, 8, 9. Organized by the Idaho Falls Arts Council, the "Youth Jam" is three fun filled days of art, theater and music for kids of all ages...and their families too!

This year's festival feature 1) art stations on the east side of the Greenbelt where kids can make lots of cool art projects; 2) free music and dance shows on the Greenbelt;
3) live shows at the Colonial Theater with Printz Dance Project; 4) events for teens such as the Battle of the Bands at the pocket park on B Street; and 5) the Great Snake River Greenbelt Duck Race on Saturday.
